"HOME TEAM: Artists Who Welcomed The World"

HOME TEAM is for the artists who painted Atlanta bright as we welcomed the world, this exhibition celebrates the ones who helped us shine.

More than seventy-five artists were commissioned to create public works in Atlanta to prepare the city for the World Cup. The “Home Team” Exhibition at Gallery FC celebrates Atlanta's muralists as the starting lineup: the talent that showed up, did the work, and made sure the city looked like itself when the world arrived.

This is a chance to experience their work up close and personal: the color, craft, and care that prepared Atlanta to host the world. These walls were never just backdrops for a tournament. Lovingly painted, they represent Atlanta's spirit and remain long after the world packed up and moved on.

To every artist who picked up a brush for this city: thank you. The hours on scaffolding, the paint-stained hands, the ideas swapped and reworked between crews - that hard work and creative camaraderie are what turned blank walls into a welcome the whole world could see.

We're grateful for the talent and the teamwork, and we invite the public to join us in celebrating it through this selection of works.
