Sacred Pride Exhibition
Panthers live free. Lions live in prides. Together, a chosen family emerges. Sacred Pride is an exhibition of queer stories woven in cloth, pixel and light.
Sacred Pride brings together two Atlanta-based queer artists, working across different generations and from different corners of the city's LGBTQ community, in an exhibition featuring Billy Clifton-Strawn and LaSalle. Both work in lens-based media and textile, and both are circling the same questions from opposite directions: what does it mean to claim your own becoming, and what does it mean to build a life, and a community, in public.

The “Home Team” Celebration
More than 100 artists, assistants, and producers painted this city bright as Atlanta prepared for the world. On August 20th, Gallery FC invites the full roster together to recognize every creative who picked up a brush for Atlanta ahead of the World Cup.
This is a collective thank you to the people who turned citywide commissions into a citywide welcome.
Presented by Downtown Atlanta Inc., and Fulton County Arts and Culture in partnership with Living Walls, ASHA Advisory and Art In The Paint, Gallery FC hosts Atlanta. Free and open to the public.
Home Team Exhibition
More than seventy-five artists were commissioned to create public works in Atlanta to prepare the city for the World Cup. The “Home Team” Exhibition at Gallery FC celebrates Atlanta's muralists as the starting lineup: the talent that showed up, did the work, and made sure the city looked like itself when the world arrived.

A Celebration, With Love
We are honored to have opened Gallery FC with Dr. Dax and the Love Is / Love Was exhibitions, and even more honored to celebrate both with the people who make this community what it is.
Dr. Dax : “LOVE IS” and “LOVE WAS” companion exhibitions on view during the World Cup.
“Love Is…” and “Love Was…” presents two distinct bodies of work separated by time, temperament, and perspective, yet connected by a common search for meaning through human experience.
Love Was gathers earlier works created from a place of immediacy: energetic, emotional, instinctive, often driven by the urgency of the moment. These pieces reflect a period of exploration in which feeling led the process, capturing raw expressions of joy, longing, vulnerability, and transformation.
Love Is, on view in The CTR's South Lobby, introduces a newer body of work shaped by reflection and intention. These paintings carry a quieter confidence, inviting viewers to consider love not as a fleeting emotion, but as a practice, a presence, a way of moving through the world. Layered with symbolism, personal history, and moments of contemplation, the works reveal an artist examining not only what love has been, but what it continues to become.
Together, “Love Is…” and “Love Was…” function as both a conversation and a bridge: between past and present, reaction and reflection, passion and understanding. The exhibitions offer a rare opportunity to witness the evolution of Dr. Dax's visual language and perspective, revealing how time reshapes both the artist and the meaning of love itself.
